Building an Inclusive Arts Community: Stephens House Joins Art on the Green – July 19th
Bainbridge Island Art is proud to continue its commitment to inclusive, community‑centered arts programming by welcoming Stephens House – Bainbridge Island Special Needs Foundation as our featured nonprofit partner at Art on the Green, Sunday, July 19th at Winslow Green.
This partnership reflects our belief that creativity thrives when everyone has a place in the story. By inviting Stephens House to lead interactive art experiences, showcase member‑made artwork, and share their mission with visitors, Art on the Green becomes more than an event — it becomes a space where connection, belonging, and visibility are intentionally built.

Members of Stephens House brought an incredible range of offerings to Art on the Green, including:
Original artwork for sale
A collaborative community painting experience
Friendship bracelet making and custom buttons
Open conversations about their mission and programs

Stephens House: Strengthening Community Through the Arts
Stephens House has been expanding its arts and performing arts partnerships across Bainbridge Island, collaborating with organizations such as BARN, Bainbridge Island Arts & Crafts, Lost Forest Ceramics, BIMA, and Sidequest Theater. Their work helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build confidence, connection, and creative expression.
