Discover Bainbridge Island Studio Tour
Nestled in the picturesque Puget Sound, just a 30-minute ferry ride from Seattle, Bainbridge Island is a haven for art lovers and creative souls. With its quaint shops, charming bed and breakfasts, delightful restaurants, award-winning wineries, and a vibrant art scene, Bainbridge Island is the perfect destination for a day trip or a weekend getaway.
Bainbridge Island Studio Tour’s twice-annual, free, self-guided art show is a celebration of the beauty and craftsmanship of local, handmade art. Since 1984, the Bainbridge Island Studio Tour has been a beloved event, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore the studios and community halls of regional artists. Each summer and winter, talented artists are selected through a jury process to showcase and sell their work at this eagerly anticipated event.
As you wander through the studios, you'll have the chance to witness the artistic process firsthand. See works in progress, explore the raw materials and tools that bring these creations to life, and perhaps even find a spark of inspiration amidst the sawdust and paint splatters.
Meeting the artists in person and hearing about their vision and techniques is a highlight of the Bainbridge Island Studio Tour. These passionate individuals pour their hearts into their work, and your visit and support mean the world to them. By purchasing handmade pieces at the Studio Tour, you are not only acquiring one-of-a-kind treasures but also contributing to the local economy and helping artists continue to thrive.
